SENNHEISER HD 599

best piano headphones -SENNHEISER HD 599
best piano headphones -SENNHEISER HD 599

The HD599 audiophile headphones offer remarkable sound, and it’s great for an ideal price. I’ve been using these headphones for long a time now

So what makes these headphones so good?

For instance, The padding on the HD599 is super convenient. However, The headband and ear pads have very compact, luxurious velour padding, which feels very soft and pleasant and allows your ears to hear the best sound!

secondly, you can wear them all day long without feeling any role or fatigue. After a while, you will start to forget that you’re wearing them at all. Similarly, The HD599 folding is not like others out like some other more portable headphones out there. They also have quite big ear cups, which makes the headphones pretty heavy and thus not very compact, but again from the comfort perspective, it’s a big plus.

Sound. The HD599 are open-back headphones, so (you guessed it) they leak sound. But at the same time, you get lovely 3-dimensional soundstage; instruments come from all directions providing a fantastic sense of depth and separation.

Pros
  • Superb quality
  • Remarkably comfortable for large head persons
  • High-fidelity sound reproduction
  • Wide soundstage
  • Nice bass
Cons
  • Heavy
  • Very little noise isolation
  • Sound leaking is the problem

Technical Specifications:

  • Product Dimensions: 7.2 x 6.1 x 3.2 inches
  • Item Weight: 9.1 ounces
  • Shipping Weight: 1.35 pounds
  • Series: ASINB07RFNZYJZ
  • Item model number: HD 599 SE

PHILIPS SHP9500

best piano headphones -PHILIPS SHP9500
best piano headphones -PHILIPS SHP9500

The SHP9500 is one of the best that is in this list and is easily the best open-back headphones in the sub-100$ range. The headphones are ideal for those on a tight budget and offer an incredible price/value ratio that’s hard to beat. These headphones have gathered thousands of positive reviews and are often compared to the much more expensive Sennheiser HD599 and even the HD6xx series headphones. About a year ago, I had to remove this model from the list simply because it disappeared from all the major largest retailers, and it was almost impossible to buy them (except for a few eBay listings wanting 200$+ for them). Anyway, they’re back, so get excited! Maybe the SHP9500 doesn’t look and feel as luxurious as the Sennheisers HD599, but they are still one of the most comfortable cans I’ve tried.

While the padding material of the headband and ear pads may seem a bit cheap, it feels very pleased once you put them on. The only disadvantage I’ve found is that ear pads are not removable, so you won’t be able to wash or replace them. The overall built-quality is Top-notch. The SHP9500 is quite flexible and has an adjustable metal headband. Despite the vast size, the headphones are very weighted a little. The open-back design, combined with a significant50mm neodymium driver, provides an incredibly wide soundstage and clear, detailed sound.

Pros
  • The frequency range is outstanding
  • Large soundstage
  • Spacious, open sound
  • Great clarity and detail
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Heavy
  • Poor noise isolation
  • Sound leaking is the problem
  • Pads are non-removable

Technical Specifications:

  • Frequency range: 12 – 35,000 Hz
  • Sensitivity: 101 dB
  • Maximum power input: 200 mW
  • Impedance: 32 Ohm
  • Acoustic system: Open
  • Magnet type: Neodymium
  • Speaker diameter: 50 mm

SONY MDR7506

best piano headphones -Sony MDR-7506
best piano headphones -Sony MDR-7506

These are professional the best, having certainly brilliant fidelity headphones that have been around for quite a while.

The MDR7506 are phenomenal, industry-standard headphones consequently trusted by many audio professionals in studios all around the globe right now. The headphones are reasonably budget-oriented but don’t be getting confused by the price. The sound quality put them on par with many200$-300$ headphones.

The reason why the MDR7506 is so good in studios is that they very accurately reproduce audio without adding any coloration, which allows you to hear the sound as close as possible to the source. The headphones offer not so well performing soundstage, it’s not as full and spacious as what open-back headphones provide, but among closed-back headphones, it’s above average for sure Design. Therefore, The MDR7506 being closed-back headphones are not as comfortable to wear for extended periods as open-back headphones.

Secondly, The longer you wear them, the more warmth and heat builds up inside the cups, so you might want to take a break to let your ears rest after a few hours. Moreover, The MDR7506’s removable ear cups combined with an adjustable headband ensures a comfortable and secure fit for everyone. The padding is quite great but not as pleasant as the HD599’s velvet padding or the ATH-M40x’s leather pads, which provide a little more room inside the ear cups.

Pros
  • Perfect, neutral sound
  • Trustworthy & reliability is there
  • No Sound Leakage
  • Decent sound isolation from ambient noise
Cons
  • Lack of airflow
  • Not as much feeling as comfortable for longer wear
  • Not very fancy looking

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO

best piano headphones -Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO

Beyerdynamic is the best brand that people believe in recording studios as well as for home audio. The brand describes their DT 770 Pro headphones as “an absolute studio classic.” These headphones are high fidelity and have an enjoyable sound recreation. The brand has done some remarkable things, so these headphones over decades of manufacturing. The DT 770 headphones are one of the great when we talk about its Beyerdynamic range. There are three models in this range, the 770, 880 and 990. The 770s are the only ones that have a fully closed back. We’ve chosen this design out as being great for use with a piano with the headphone jack.

Being closed-back, the DT 770 Pro headphones have quite a high volume and superb noise isolation; if you are hoping to block out the external sounds when you play keyboard or digital piano, then this model could well be for you. The frequency response of the headphones is a plus point. The level of detail is phenomenal. Most headphones with a closed-back design sacrifice a little bit of acoustics and spacial reproduction. However, these headphones have an excellent soundstage despite the noise-isolating design. You can buy these headphones with three different levels of impedance. 32 OHM, 80 OHM or 250 OHM. The higher the scale, the more and more truly the sound, but the truth is that most people don’t hear the difference with a digital piano. 32 or 80 OHM options should be excellent.

Pros
  • Comfortable headphones.
  • Excellent build
  • Top-Notch quality
  • Excellent noise isolation
Cons
  • Very Costly
  • Too much bass in it

Technical Specifications:

  • Product Dimensions: 10 x 5 x 8 inches
  • Item Weight: 9.6 ounces
  • Series: ASINB0016MNAAI

Conclusion:

Beyerdynamic Is a very great product to buy this is value for money, In other words, its bank for the buck for the customers who are hunting for the best piano headphones in the year 2020..!!!

If you haven’t invested some really good time to get the best headphones for your piano in the first place, and just want a sound which is good enough to hear what you are playing without ultra hi-fi quality, these cans could be an answer for you. Notwithstanding the shallow price point, these headphones have some pretty respectable features. You’re not going to mix and produce a number one album using these, but they certainly have enough quality to help you through the early steps of playing and listening to the piano. You don’t need to go all out and spend a fortune on gear to learn to play. There are some important factors to getting these headphones, and they’re not an elite model. They’re a bit heavier than most of the competing models on this list, meaning they might start to cause your head and ears some tight feeling and even aches and pains if you’re practicing for hours upon hours. Short tasks should be perfect, however. They can be very much comfortable if you aren’t using them for extended spells.
